Video Game Storage

Looking for video game storage?  There are a lot of various ways to store video games, controllers, and game accessories, and there are plenty of online distributors who are more than willing to work with any video game console.

One of the simplest means of video game storage is simply a shelf system; a few shelves to put next to the television stand.  One shelf will allow for the video game console itself, while other shelves can be used to store games and controllers.  While this type of video game storage can be quite effective, it should be taken as exactly what it is: three or four shelves, and that’s it.  When looking for a way to store and organize video games, this might not be the cheapest way to simply stick a few shelves next to the TV.

An even simpler form of video game storage is a wall-mount system.  The great advantage of this system is that it gets all of the video games, consoles, cords, and accessories off of the floor entirely, so nobody trips over and gets entangled in them.  These wall mount systems will have room for accessories, controllers, and games, but will require some assembly on the part of the owner – as well as a willingness to hang something on the wall.  This system won’t be able to support a game console, however, so it’s more an organizer for the “extras” than an all-inclusive storage system.

There are, of course, video game storage systems that are designed for absolutely nothing else.  These systems are engineered to fit the game console exactly, with room for games and hangers for controllers and accessories, like guitars, steering wheels, and the like.  Because these systems are designed to be all-inclusive and specifically targeted for certain consoles, they are excellent at what they do.  These storage systems organize console, accessories, controllers, and sometimes even the wires and the television itself.  This means that for those who are looking for a place to set up their TV and Playstation, this type of storage is ideal.  Those, however, already have your TV set up, or a nice entertainment system in place, or know exactly where their video game console is supposed to go, might want to look at a simpler organizer.  For those already reasonably organized, It might be better to look at something that will just keep the cords from getting tangled or keep people from stepping on the controllers.
